Jetstream Projects was founded by an aviation IT professional with four decades of hands-on experience across the full spectrum of baggage messaging and airport systems delivery.
That career has spanned roles with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), NATS (National Air Traffic Services), and Heathrow Airport, working across safety-related systems and large-scale operational programmes. Years of independent consultancy established a reputation for delivering complex, high-stakes programmes on time and to specification.

Worked within NATS (National Air Traffic Services) on safety-related IT systems supporting UK air traffic operations. Gained deep experience of the rigour, process discipline and assurance frameworks required in safety-critical aviation environments.

Led the migration of Heathrow's Baggage Reconciliation System messaging to a new platform, ensuring zero disruption to live operations. Designed the message mapping strategy, coordinated cutover with multiple airline DCS providers, and validated end-to-end message flows across all terminals.
Delivered a comprehensive integration programme connecting twelve airline Departure Control Systems with a centralised baggage messaging hub. Standardised Type B message formats, established automated routing rules, and implemented real-time monitoring dashboards for operational oversight.
Designed and built a PostgreSQL-based analytics platform for baggage performance reporting. Aggregated data from BSM, BPM, and BTM message flows to provide real-time KPIs on mishandled baggage rates, connection success metrics, and processing time analysis across the operation.
Managed the operational readiness and airport transfer (ORAT) programme for a major terminal opening. Developed testing scenarios for all baggage messaging interfaces, coordinated trial operations with airline partners, and ensured all systems were proven and operational ahead of passenger day one.
